Thank you notes

Sometimes, the nicest things people say are the things you never asked them to say.

These are Public Displays of Appreciation -- unsolicited posts, comments, and thank-yous from people I’ve had the privilege of helping or working alongside.

No scripts. Just people sharing their experiences in their own words.

And yes, I saved some of the screenshots - - they get me through the tiring, difficult days. So… thank you, too.

Group of people, including children and adults, celebrating on a sports field with their hands raised in a group cheer during daylight.

“People are kind enough to thank me when I get something done, but the truth is, no one does this work alone. Behind every problem solved and every win delivered is an incredible team of staff, policy experts, interns, and people who answer the phone when I say, ‘Okay, I have an idea…’

I may get the credit, but they deserve a whole lot of it, too. Team Linehan really is a team — and I’m incredibly lucky to have them.”
